Which data sources can I query?
You can query SSL/TLS certificates, DNS records, WHOIS registration data, and HTTP response data, all linked together around domains. Available data sources and history depth depend on your subscription plan.
How does phishing detection work?
You define a query that describes the domains relevant to your brand, for example look-alike or typosquatting patterns. Shadowspotter continuously matches newly observed registrations against that query and alerts you immediately, so you can act before your customers are targeted.
What is a detection?
A detection is a saved search query that runs continuously. Whenever a new record matches your query, the detection records the result and can trigger a notification or your own automated workflow.
How do notifications work?
Each detection can fire a notification when it finds a new match. Depending on your plan you can receive email notifications or trigger webhooks to integrate Shadowspotter into your existing security tooling.
